Temporary and Permanent Disability Claims
Employees diagnosed with Occupational Health injuries and disease are seen by our Occupational Medical Practitioner (OMP) and the relevant documentation is completed and submitted to the Workmen’s Compensation Fund per the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act.
Employees presenting with medical conditions that render them temporarily or permanently unfit for duty are seen by our Occupational Medical Practitioner, and the correct procedures are followed to ensure that these employees benefit from the Workman’s Compensation Fund.
In the case of a temporary disability, employees are re-evaluated and declared fit for duty, once the condition has been adequately stabilised and they are recommended to resume their regular duties.
